This site should be a resource for the I2O Linux driver and utilities. The I2O Linux kernel driver was initially written by Alan Cox and the raidutils (which are used to manage the Adaptec RAID controllers) were created by Adaptec. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me: Markus.Lidel@shadowconnect.com. Please put at least "I2O" into subject, so i don't miss it.
Status of I2O on Linux:
The i2o_core / i2o_block / i2o_scsi / i2o_config / i2o_proc drivers have been tested on both 32-bit x86 and x86-64 for RAID capability.
Controllers which are known to work
In theory all controllers which support the 1.5 version of the I2O specification should work with the I2O Linux driver.
